GCTF Seminar on the Judiciary in Handling Counterterrorism Cases within a Rule of Law Framework

This two-day seminar will examine the critical issues and
complexities that judges have to address when handling national
security, counterterrorism, and associated complex criminal cases. This
workshop will allow the participants from different regions and legal
systems to share experiences, challenges, good practices, and lessons
learned in handling these cases. More than 25 judges and magistrates
from around the world – including from Algeria, Bangladesh, Canada,
China, France, Indonesia, Israel, Jordan, Kenya, Malaysia, Morocco, The
Netherlands, Nigeria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and the United
States – are expected to attend.
