Red Carpet Shots @ The Oscars

Last night, while hanging out at The Standard Hotel with some of my colleagues over some drinks in the grilling Downtown Los Angeles, the Oscar moments popped up and the entire gist happened to be who was wearing what and how the show came out. For sure, I don't like the Whoopi attire. I have no favorite but I like Alicia Keyes and Taraji P. Henson.

We even talked about how the Jews conquered Hollywood with the kind of movies they make which is inspiring. Movies like "Defiance," "The Unborn," "The Reader," "Valkyrie," "Blessed Is The Match," and many others -- all about the Holocaust. Now my folks see where I'm coming from.

Associated Press photographer Chris Pizzello captures Taraji P. Henson as she arrives for the 81st Academy Awards

Actress and singer Alicia Keyes arrives at the 81st Academy Awards. Those Armani Prive with a Zufi Alexander clutch and that Fred Leighton jewels speaks volumes. I like that style. Simply georgeous. Photo by Matt Sayles, AP

Halle Berry arrives at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party which grooved all night. She is captured here by AP's Evan Agostini.

I'm not sure what Whoopi Goldberg was doing here in that dress. She was all smiles though. AP's Chris Carlson captured her here as she arrives at the 81st Academy Awards.

Actress Marion Cotillard pops up on the red carpet while AP's Chris Pizzello takes the shot.

Here you go Dubmaster. Kate Winslet here wears Yves Saint Laurent Atelier along with Yvette Saint Laurent shoes and Chopard jewelry as she arrives the Academy Awards.

I'm not sure if I like this outfit. Anyway, Queen Latifah here wears Georges Chakra gown with William Goldberg diamonds and Gucci shoes. She is captured here by AP's Matt Sayles.

Anne Hathaway is so excited for having a job and you bet she is going to get all that Hollywood wants. Here she wears white Armani Prive gown with Casadel shoes and Roger Vivier bag topping it off with Cartier jewels

The prediction was that white was going to be the flashing point this year on the red carpet and Henson did just that. She captured my eyes.

Damn! Beautiful shots. No wonder everybody wants to go to Hollywood.

Hey man, how come you don't have Amy Hathaway ("Rachel Getting Married") and Kate Winslet ("The Reader") in your shots?

All the shots are great but I like Angelina Jolie. That's my girl!

And who is Marion Cotillard? Does she deserve any attention?

Leave that girl alone. She is a brilliant actress and has won many awards you could even imagine. She looks gorgeous and her dress is beautiful.

I bet Whoopi Goldberg was out there looking for some love because I know she ain't getting any and she better sit her butt on the fiminist View. Gosh, I hate The View.

It appears the ladies are the ones that gets most attention. They always have easy going time at the Oscars than the guys and I don't know why. Like Halle Berry she always shows how easy it is to walk the red carpet.

I think Kate Winslet deserves to be on this thread especially winning the Oscar for her major role in "The Reader," a story of post-war revelation about a Nazi woman who sleeps with a German boy of which she read the book seven years ago when she was pregnant with her son. I will be putting her up shortly and thanks for that curiosity. Anne Hathaway, I will think about it.

Marion Cotillard is the French girl who starred in the movie La Vie En Rose potraying Edith Piaff which brought her international acclaim and won her an Oscar for the 80th Academy Awards. She is now in the Oscar books.

Well, the ladies always have my vote.

All good looking. What's your beef with Whoopi? She is the kind of woman that can handle you men.

Does Anne Hathaway smoke? She inhaled some in the movie.

Seventy four year old Giorgio Armani must be doing something right for clothing Hollywood celebrities. Armani's clean, simple and impeccable tailoring must be the reason why Alicia Keys, Anne Hathaway and the rest can't stop gushing about him.

I am really jealous. There's too much goodies in Yankee.

I like Hugh Jackman and the way he carried the show.

It seems designers are not feeling the economic crunch these days. Their hands are full....Each way you go there is a fashion this and fashion that all over. Like the famous New York Fashion Week. Everybody is talking about it. I like the gals up here. Looking good is the name of the game.

Swanky skin care and extravagant makeups...that's all.

Hollywood and the Oscars will never fade. It is a global tradition, baby!

I like Kate Winslet's fragile, English side and her looks is tempting.

Is it true Taraji Henson and Angelina Jolie have landed a deal to work on a movie? I overheard it's a done deal and both have agreed to keep it real.

I watched the Oscar and no doubt Whoopi Goldberg and Queen Latifah have killed fashion department. They looked horrible.

One more thing. It is ridiculous to see what the gym has done to the legs of these women in the name of staying in shape. Look at the legs of Alicia Keys. Tight and all muscles.

Leave these women alone. Haba!

OK I'll take it back. U feel better now?

Good boy!
